Venue Information

With ample amount of space in the building and outside, plus historical charm, the East Whittier Woman's Club is the place to have your next event! We make set up easy by doing the tables and chairs for you. Need to warm up some food over the stove or in the oven, or do you need to chill beverages in the fridge? We have you covered with a full kitchen plus two fridges that you have access to. We have two large rooms that is included in the cost, plus a mens and women's restroom, the outdoor grounds, and our own parking lot. Frequently Asked Questions

What is your buildings capacity? 

Our building can hold 120 people. Events where seating is indoor and outdoors the capacity is 150. We currently have 120 chairs, 16 round tables, and 10 rectangle tables. Further seating needed will need to be rented by outside source.

What is included when having an event at the Women's Club?

We provide tables, chairs, bathrooms, and kitchen access as well as the outdoor grounds.

What length can my event be?

We book by time frames. Currently you can either book anything up to 7 hours or up to 12 hours. Those time frames include your set-up, event, and clean up. Exceeding your time frame will result in a fine. â€‹Our venue is in a residential area so everyone must be out of the building by 10:00pm.

Can I have my event catered?

Yes! Our kitchen is for minor food preparation but not to make food from scratch. Catering is encouraged.

Can we have a DJ?

Unfortunately because our building is located in a residential area we do not allow DJ's. We have ceiling speakers that you can hook up music to.

Can we have alcohol?

Wine and champagne is accepted but NO beer or hard liquor. 

​

What is the parking arrangements at your location?

We have 18 parking spots available with additional parking on the street.

​

Is there wheelchair accessibility?

Yes we have a ramp in the front of our building.

​

Can I come the day before event to decorate?

Unfortunately we are eager to book our venue on other days. All decorating must be done the day of event by scheduling a time with us of when you can come to decorate. If you would like additional days to decorate, there will be additional pay involved.

How many trash cans can we fill?

Trash capacity is limited. We have two trash bins in the building that are provided. If trashes are full outside, you will need to take what does not fit.
